When comparing the two, there are plenty of benefits when eating organic veggies vs mass produced veggies. In this article, I’ll go over this topic & let you decide which type is best for your health & overall well being.
In my opinion, there’s no comparison! Organic veggies will always be superior to mass produced, commercial produce.
Moreover, growing your own is simple, especially with a hydroponic microgreens growing kit. Even better, you could be enjoying fresh, nutritious veggies in as little as a week!
If you’re still not convinced that organic is the way to go, here’s some info that may convince you otherwise. Read on & let me know what you think.
They’re Good For Your Health …
Whenever someone visits their doctor for a health check, there’s a pretty good chance they’ll tell them to watch what they eat.
Generally speaking, you should have no worries if you’ve been eating healthy fish, meats, fruits & veggies. However, some of these so called healthy foods contain harmful chemicals.
Why Go Organic?
These days, a large percentage of the food supply has been genetically modified. Farmers use a variety of fertilizers and chemicals to grow bigger, larger crops.
Unfortunately, there isn’t enough long term scientific data to let consumers know these chemicals are safe. Why take unnecessary risks with your health when you don’t have to.
With organic veggies, there’s no mystery to how they’re grown. Mother Nature does all the work, providing water, sunlight & time to produce delicious, healthy food.
Even better, scientific studies have shown that veggies grown organically contain 50% more vitamins & minerals than those mass produced on commercial farms.
Another benefit is that you’ll probably live longer as a result of eating healthier food. Yes, it’s true that fertilizers & pesticides can be good in some cases, the drawback is these very same chemicals rob the veggies of essential vitamins & nutrients.
In addition, I like the fact that eating organically helps to benefit the environment too. Because organic crops require no chemicals, the soil can remain pollutant free.
Yes, the supplies needed for organically grown foods are more expensive than those which are conventionally grown. However, can you really put a price on your health & overall well-being? The bottom line is, cheaper isn’t always best!
In the future, the price of organic foods will decrease. In the meantime, you can always grow them yourself, for pennies on the dollar!
You only need to do a bit of research to learn how to set up a garden and take care of your crops. Once you’re all set up, you’ll just be watering your plants & making sure they get enough sunlight.
Anyway, that’s my opinion. What do you think?
Peace …
